Privacy Policy

This Policy explains how Tarotide handles information when you visit this website or use the Tarotide iOS app, including a pre-release version. Tarotide is made by a small independent team.

Effective September 30, 2026 · Version 1

Contact and scope

Tarotide is an independent project operated by a small team. For questions or requests about this Policy or your information, email tarotide.help@outlook.com. This Policy covers the Tarotide website, iOS app, and related support. It does not replace the privacy terms of third-party services you use separately.

Information we handle

Depending on how you use Tarotide, we handle account details such as your email address and account identifier; questions, messages, card draws, readings, Guide conversations, saved Collection items, and profile information you choose to provide; subscription status needed to provide Pro benefits when subscriptions become available; and technical information needed for operation and security, such as device or browser information, IP address, request times, and error records. If you email us, we receive your address and whatever you choose to include in the message. Our website has no account form, advertising code, or optional analytics script.

Why we use it

We use this information to create and secure accounts, provide readings and Guide replies, retrieve relevant context for those features, keep saved content available, determine access to subscription benefits when offered, respond to support and privacy requests, and diagnose abuse or service failures. Please avoid including information you do not want processed, especially highly sensitive details, in a question or support email.

Service providers and AI

Hosting, account, and email providers help us operate Tarotide and answer support messages. To provide AI-generated readings and Guide replies, relevant questions or messages, card details, Persona instructions, and limited prior context may be sent to third-party AI model services. Search or retrieval text may be sent to embedding services to find relevant context. We do not publish a fixed provider list here because the services can change, but these data categories and purposes will be kept current. Provider systems may process or retain submitted data under their applicable terms; we do not promise zero retention or that every provider is barred from model improvement unless we have verified that condition.

Apple purchases

When Tarotide Pro is available, Apple processes App Store purchases and subscription billing. Tarotide may receive transaction and subscription status needed to provide benefits and resolve account problems. We do not ask you to send a payment-card number to Tarotide or to our support email. See Apple's own privacy information for its separate payment processing.

Retention and deletion

We keep account and saved-content information while needed to provide the features you use, and support messages and technical records while needed to respond, maintain security, or meet applicable obligations. Some records may need to be retained for legal or operational reasons after an account closes. The public iOS release will allow you to request account deletion in Settings; after a request is accepted, we will complete deletion of the account and applicable associated data within 30 calendar days. Pre-release users who cannot access that option can contact us at the email above. Deleting a Tarotide account does not cancel a subscription managed by Apple.

Your choices and requests

You can choose what to submit, remove saved items through available app controls, and ask us about access, correction, or deletion by emailing tarotide.help@outlook.com. The public app's in-app account-deletion option will remain the normal way to initiate deletion; contacting Support is available for help, not a required extra step. We may need to verify that a request relates to your account before responding.

Age, international processing, and changes

Tarotide is intended for people aged 18 or older. If you believe someone under 18 has provided account information, contact us. Our hosting and other service providers may process information outside the country where you live, where privacy protections may differ. We will update this page and its effective date when our practices change, and provide additional notice for material changes when required.
